It's a cake made in Greece ... and I really like kre. It is easy to make and delicious in the morning with a coffee or a glass of milk. great appetite.

  • butter or margarine (250 gr)
  • an envelope of vanilla or grated orange peel.

  • 4.5 eggs.
  • 2 cups sugar (450gr).

RECIPE PREPARATION Walnut cake:

-Put the butter (margarine) a little heated in the microwave (20 seconds) and put it in the bowl of the mixer .. add the sugar a little while the mixer mixes .. and eggs .. one by one. Add the vanilla sachet. (let the mixer beat for 3 minutes) .. while we prepare the milk and flour that will be added little by little .. at the same time the mixer at a slightly higher speed. I also add grated orange peel, although I also added vanilla. leave the mixer at high power for 5 minutes and when it is almost ready add the walnuts (given through a blender) .. about a handful of walnuts ..! while the mixer is working..prepare the oven on the right heat and grease your pan with oil and dust it with a little flour so that it doesn't stick. then add the composition in the form and put in the oven for 50-60 minutes. good appetite .

Remove from the oven and allow to cool .. then spread vanilla sugar on top. (This is for those who prefer.)

10 eggs
300 g caster sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
1 cup cold water
16 tablespoons oil
16 tablespoons flour
peel from 1 blade & acircie
1 ammonium sachet for cakes
lemon & acircie juice
1 teaspoon cocoa
2 teaspoons rum essence
finely chopped walnuts and pre-baked & icircn

Method of preparation

Wash the eggs. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Grease the bowl with which you will beat the egg whites with a slice of lemon. This trick will make the dough fluffier.

In the bowl where you will put the yolks, sprinkle a pinch of salt.

Beat the egg whites, fry for 2-3 minutes on your own, after which you can gradually add 300 g of caster sugar. Meanwhile, stir in the vanilla sugar sachet.

So that the foam is stronger and the sugar melts better & icircn all this time gradually add and 1 cup cold water.

Separately, mix the yolks with 16 tablespoons of oil, added gradually, until the composition becomes like mayonnaise.

When the two compositions are ready, mix: the yolks are poured over the mixture of egg whites, beating continuously.
After, put & icircn rain, gradually, 16 tablespoons of flour.

At the end, add the peel of 1 lemon, 1 sachet of ammonium for cakes previously dissolved in a cup of lemon juice. Pour over the cake composition and stir a little.

Although many use baking soda, ammonium breaks down much better. Also, ammonium can also be dissolved in vinegar, although lemon juice is preferred.

When it is ready, half of this composition is placed in another bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of cocoa, mix and add 2 teaspoons of rum essence.

Take two forms of cake or cake (the cake will grow quite a lot, so the cake shapes are also suitable), grease them with oil and line them with flour.

Pour a quarter of the white composition into each shape. After that, a quarter of the cocoa composition adds a little chopped walnuts, roasted and cooled beforehand.

Mix the compositions with the tail of a teaspoon.

Then, put what is left of the white composition, respectively the black composition, mix again with the tail of a teaspoon, and at the end sprinkle walnuts on top.

Put in the oven and leave for about 30-35 minutes. Place on a wooden board and powder with powdered sugar.

I baked the cakes at 180 degrees, about 25-30 minutes, until they passed the toothpick test. They came out perfect. Sweet, but not extremely sweet, flavored with essences and with an intense taste of dark chocolate, from Sweeteria chocolate drops.

For Easter I had some nuts left and I made a cake, fast and very tasty.

ingredients : 4 eggs, 6 tablespoons sugar, a cup of milk (50 ml), 3 tablespoons oil, vanilla sugar, rum essence, lemon and orange zest, baking powder, 5 tablespoons flour, 5 tablespoons ground walnuts .

First mix the egg whites with the hard foam sugar. Then add in turn the yolks, oil, milk, flavors, flour mixed with baking powder, ground walnuts. The last 2 ingredients are easily incorporated, with a spoon, better than with the mixer.

Line a cake tray with baking paper and place in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes on a suitable heat. It's ready when it passes the toothpick test. Cold, peel the baking paper off the cake and dust with sugar.

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • rum
  • 400 g walnuts.

How to prepare cake with walnuts and cocoa - the traditional recipe

Sift the flour, put in the middle 3/4 cube rubbed yeast with 1 teaspoon sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 tablespoon flour. Leave to rise for about 30 minutes. Mix hot milk with sugar and spices. Separately, beat whole eggs.

After the mayonnaise has risen, add the lukewarm milk, the well-beaten eggs, then the lukewarm oil, little by little. Leave to rise for an hour in the basin, until it doubles in volume.

Prepare the filling, mixing all the ingredients cold. Walnuts can be replaced with poppy seeds boiled in milk. Heat the trays well, cover them with oil and flour and put the dough to rise and in the trays for 30 minutes. Put it in the oven after I have greased the cozonacs with beaten egg.

Eggplant and walnut cake

Surely it has happened to you many times to prepare a mayonnaise or a dessert in which you have to use only the yolks and to be left with many egg whites that you do not know what to use. So I thought I'd give you a suggestion. Turn them into one egg white and walnut cake, a simple and easy to make recipe.

You can make it marbled, add a little cocoa or plain, in one color. It will be just as good. You can also flavor it using different flavors, almond or rum or use ground orange peel, already transformed into spice or grated on the spot, but also lemon. It depends on your tastes and imagination.

I'll give you the recipe for a cake without cocoa, so to speak, basic, but, as you can see in one of the pictures, some time ago I made a little cocoa in it. Next time I make more I will put more cocoa and I will even try to make one and also with cocoa. There are no big differences.

You just have to keep in mind to decrease the amount of flour to the amount of cocoa but not by 1/1 percent. Cocoa has no density like flour and, consequently, we will add a little less in the composition.

Method of preparation:

Grate the lemon peel in a bowl, slowly add the yolks and pour in the oil, little by little, so with the mayonnaise.

Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with a little salt, add the sugar until it hardens like meringue.

Put in the egg white baking powder quenched with lemon juice and continue to mix lightly with a wooden spoon, from top to bottom. Then put the yolk mayonnaise and flour "in the rain". Incorporate in the composition the walnut kernel given through the flour. The appearance of the dough should be like a thick cream.

On top, sprinkle large pieces of walnut for decoration.

Grease a pan with butter, line it with flour and fill it with the resulting composition.

Heat the oven well, then, when you insert the tray into the stove, reduce the heat to a minimum. After 30 minutes, turn the tray over walnut cake bake for another 10-15 minutes.
